Mr. Nick YUAN specializes in dispute resolution (litigation and arbitration), and his primary practice areas include shipping, insurance, logistics, international trade, banking and finance. Additionally, Mr. Nick YUAN also has rich experience in handling cases involving cross-border maritime and trade fraud as well as cross-board crime assets recovery.

Mr. Nick YUANgraduated from Dalian Maritime University with LL.B in International Maritime Affairs (Law), and then has worked in several shipping law firms in Tianjin and Beijing. He joined Beijing Zhonglun W&D (Tianjin) Law Firm as a senior partner in 2018.

Mr. Nick YUAN is serving as the deputy director of the seventh Maritime Committee of Tianjin Lawyers Association. He was elected to participate in National Youth Lawyer Leading Talent Training Camp, and was named and listed in the One Thousand Foreign-Related Lawyers Talents by Ministry of Justice of the P. R. China. He was also rated as “Recognized Practitioner in Shipping and Maritime Practice in Northern China” by Chambers & Partners 2017.

Nick YUAN handled litigation cases before various local maritime courts, high courts, the Supreme People’s Court and other judicial authorities, as well as the arbitration cases covering the international and domestic institutional arbitration and ad hoc arbitration, some of which are internationally well-known and influenced.
